Office Hours
Our Temple Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM & Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The offices are closed on Tuesdays.
Office personnel will gladly answer any questions or direct you appropriately. The Temple Office phone number is 973-584-5666 and press 5 for our Administrator or Executive Assistant. The Religious School office hours are Monday and Wednesday 10 AM to 4 PM and the office is always open while school is in session. The Religious School phone number is 973-584-5666 and press 3.

The Temple Shalom Transformational is a great way to stay up to date with current events here at Temple Shalom.
Kesher is Temple Shalom’s monthly information bulletin, which publicizes temple activities and items of congregational interest.
Facilities
Our building houses a spacious sanctuary, a beautiful chapel, an administrative and school office complex, twenty classrooms, a youth lounge, the Florence and Ed Gates Founder’s Hall meeting space and Goldberg Judaic Studies Center and Library. Using modern technology to support the mission and tradition of our ancestors, we have wifi connectivity throughout our building, streaming capabilities in our sanctuary, multi-media panels and a smart board. Our renovated Social Hall and Kitchen serve as a hub for many social gatherings and celebrations and are available for rental.
Learning Opportunities
Temple Shalom offers a premier Religious School for students in Pre-K though 12th grade. For adults, our Life-Long Learning program includes Torah and text study (both in person and on-line), Sunday morning study with the Rabbi on a variety of topics and Scholars in Residence in the Fall and Spring.
Affiliates
Our affiliates are an active and important part of our Temple Shalom family. They include our Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Renaissance Group for active adults and L’Chaim Club for Seniors, which we run in partnership with the JCC. In addition we offer both a NFTY affiliated Senior Youth Group (TSHY) and a Junior Youth Group for our children.
Temple Judaica Shop
The Judaica Gift Shop is located in our temple’s downstairs lobby and is open during Religious School hours and by appointment. The shop features unique and beautiful gift items from Israel and well-known designers of Jewish art. Special orders are welcomed.
Governance
Temple Shalom is governed by its elected officers and trustees. Each spring, elections are held at the annual congregational meeting. At this meeting members also receive the budget for the following year, hear the annual reports of each committee, and make necessary decisions.
